CHANGE FOR GOOD

VERSE 1
Crawling,
Across the bedroom floor.
Every time she knocks me down,
I’m coming back for more.
Begging,
Begging on all fours,
But she’s heard it all before
and kicks me out the door.
Back on my feet again.
A little numb, yeah, I feel no pain.
That devil’s pulling on my chain.
I was born to sin.
The waters warm,
I’m diving in.
It’s too late to stop….
and change for good.
VERSE 2
A new day,
Another cheap motel,
Gotta make the best of life,
When you’re on your way to hell.
Temptation,
It’s everywhere I look,
You can’t turn your back on it
When you’re in the devils book.
I can’t turn back the tide.
Can’t escape, there’s nowhere to hide
So I’ll kick back and enjoy the ride.
Salvation’s not for me,
It’s my idea of purgatory.
It’s too late to stop...
and change for good
