Duelling Stereotypes - Prototype

A stereotypical Frenchman and German sort out their disagreement with a duel, using their weapons of choice: a stale baguette and salami! Video, description and detailed photos below...

This is a work in progress. It was the first time I'd made a bell crank. I'm happy with how that works, but in all honesty, the dueling doesn't look that interesting, does it?!? It definitely needs tweaking to make the arm movement more exciting and it would be nice if more hits landed. I also need to find a way to avoid using string to move their arms - getting the knots in the right positions was an absolute nightmare!
